William C. Belknap
Bill has thirty years of senior human resources management experience in high tech, medical cost containment, consumer products and financial information. Prior to co-founding Performance Leadership, over ten years ago, he was the SVP of Human Resources at the American Banker • Bond Buyer (ABBB). ABBB was a $100MM Division of The Thomson Corporation.
• Executives In Transition. Bill has 25 years of experience in designing, managing and implementing employee transition programs. He currently focuses on Executives who want a cost effective program that allows them to build a strong resume, quickly assess their strengths, improve their first impression and build an effective job search campaign.
• Executive Coaching. Bill is a Five O’Clock Club® certified career coach. He has worked with over 200 executives and managers in the past 2 years offering career advice, support during career transitions as well as helping to hone their interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Executive Recruiting. Bill is a recognized expert in selection and networking. He has
recruited at all levels and functions from college campuses to senior executives.
• Selection and Retention. Bill has trained over 400 managers on Selecting Winners®,
a world class one day performance based workshop on employee selection that includes clients
like Cisco and SAP. In addition he coaches managers on practical, cost effective retention strategies.

Professional development. Post Degree work at the University of Rochester, over 200 hours of Xerox sales, management, and executive training, Crosby’s Quality College, Disney’s Quality Service, the NTL Institute and Outward Bound. He is a graduate of Denison University.
Personal. Bill is married with two children. His wife, Bev, is a Learning Consultant in the education sector. Bill is an amateur magician as well as a fitness enthusiast. He has completed eight marathons and over 20 Triathlons.
Community involvement has included Children’s Aid and Family Services, the Private Industry Council, United Way and YMCA.
